Thank you for your understanding and flexibility with the changing schedule for last night's game. Here are a few important reminders regarding today's Marching Blue Devils performance.
Our call time at O'Plaine is 1:30 PM. Band students should be in the stadium ready to rehearse before 2 PM. (The rescheduled varsity football game will follow our rehearsal.) Students should bring food for dinner, so the buses can leave for Wheeling by 4:45 PM. Our performance time is 8 PM. Also, you should bring some money for snacks or a drink at the concessions. Parents can expect to pick their students at O'Plaine by 11:30 PM.
** Band students, please make sure you have the proper attire for under your uniform. (Yesterday we had 80% compliance. We need 100% for competitions.)**
T-shirt and Shorts: Every student should arrive wearing (or carrying) their blue band shorts and white band or show t-shirt. If your white band t-shirt is not available, then a white, short sleeve t-shirt will be fine. These items must be worn under the marching uniform. As the weather gets cooler, your child may wear white thermal (Under Armour) shirt and/or pants under their band t-shirt and shorts.
Socks: Must be black, at least crew height (mid-height from the ankle to the calf). No exposed skin while marching or while seated.
Shoes: The black Warren marching shoes are the only acceptable footwear. Do not forget to bring your shoes.
Gloves: Be sure to bring your white gloves from home.
These items are NOT allowed:
Tops: Sleeveless T-shirts, Halter Tops, Tank Tops, or Colored T-shirts
Bottoms: Jeans worn under uniform, short socks (lo-cut or ankle)
Jewelry: (including earrings) that distract from the overall clean, neat appearance.
Hair: For shoulder-length hair, students (men and women) must pull their hair up under their hats and we will use bobby pins or hair nets if necessary.
Colored nail polish: (both men and women) if fingers will be exposed.

The Marching Blue Devils will be competing during the Chicagoland Marching Band Festival at Wheeling High School on Saturday, September 19. Our performance time is 8 PM. The schedule for performances at the festival is here (CMBF Schedule).
DIRECTIONS: Wheeling High School is located on the corner of Route 83 (Elmhurst Road) and Hintz Road in Wheeling, one mile south of Route 68 (Dundee Road) and one mile north of Palatine/Willow Road.
TICKETS: General admission prices are - $12.00 Adults/$8.00 Students & Senior Citizens. Family plan is 2 adults/up to 5 children for $30.00. Competing band members must have their hand stamped upon arrival at the festival for admission to the stadium.
