The Warren Blue Devil Winter Guard put on two strong performances over the weekend to place 5th in a tough, competitive class. We take pride in being one of the “must see” shows of the day! Certainly, if there was a crowd appeal award, we would have to be one of the favorites.

2009 Winter Guard Pushing Towards Midwest Finals
| After 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes at regional Midwest Color Guard Circuit competitions, the Blue Devil Winter Guard I is gearing up for the Midwest Championships in LaPorte, Indiana march 28 and 29.
The guard placed 3rd at Naperville Central, 1st at Cedarburg, 2nd at Lake Park, and 3rd at Stagg.

Thier "Faces of Egypt" show has been a big hit with the audience, judges, and guard members from other schools. Elaborate costuming, staging, a 10 foot high spinning pyrimid, mirror-image see-through fabric scrim, multiple soloists, along with a variety of equipment, have made a positive impact on all viewers. The music this year is taken from The Mummy and The Mummy Returns movie soundtracks.
The winter guard has competed against guards form Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
