2007 Varsity Winter Guard
Winter Guard is an indoor performance team that
uses various size flags and sabers, along with drill moves and dance
elements throughout the performance. Team Dance Illinois (TDI) is an
IHSA recognized organization that runs the regional and state level
contests for high school dance teams, pom squads, and flag (color
guard) teams. This year the Blue Devil Winter Guard squad prepared a
routine entitled "Impressions of Japan".
The Warren JV Winter Guard completed a successful
season, scoring very well in all three TDI contests. The squad featured
their largest membership ever and excited the crowd with their
"Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend" featuring brightly colored flags and
inspired soloist.
