1.Festival of Marching Bands (Fill the Drum)/Senior Recognition Night – COMPLETE Greater Good and American Red Cross 2.Competition Band Night Rehearsals Here are the dates and times for the final three rehearsals. Wednesday, September 26, 6-9 pm Monday, October 1, 7-9 pm Wednesday, October 10, 6-9 pm As the weather gets colder, please remember to bring layers! 3.Greendale HS (WI) Competition -- Saturday, September 29 (evening) Please look at the separate email sent Saturday regarding the band's schedule for Greendale competition. It is also here. 4.2019 Disneyland Band Trip - First Payment Due October 1 The students first trip payment of $150 is due end of day on Monday, October 1st at either school's Business Office. Please contact Mr. Jenkins you have any other questions. 5.Cherrydale Orders Pickup – Tuesday, October 2 Cherrydale orders with student delivery will be available to pick up between 3-6 pm outside the Almond band room on Tuesday, October 2nd. If you are unable to pick up your order, please make arrangements with another family to pick up your order. We do not have the freezer space to retain any orders not picked up. 6.Devil Horn Sales In an effort to allow band students and volunteers a chance to purchase Blue Devil Horn headbands before the general public sales at the Homecoming Football Game; the Band Boosters will be selling Devil Horns during the following dates/times: Wednesday, 9/26: 5:30-7pm – O’Plaine band room Monday, 10/1: 5:30-7pm – O’Plaine band room $5 per Devil Horn CASH ONLY Please bring EXACT CHANGE! Sales will continue while supplies last! 7.Final Competition meal - Saturday, October 13 (evening) The Band Boosters will again provide a meal for our band at the final competition in Downers Grove. Please send an email to [email protected] by Friday, October 5 if your student has any dietary restrictions that may require a special meal. 8.2nd Annual Trivia Night Date: Saturday, November 3 Time: 7pm (Doors Open by 6:00pm) Location: Almond Black Box Teams of 8 will compete for Cash Prizes! SIGNUP HERE This is our largest Fall Fundraiser for the Warren Band Program. 9.Donations to Warren Band Boosters Did you know that Warren Band Boosters is an option for charitable giving in some local employers' giving campaigns, and may qualify for matching donation from your employer?
