Announcements/Reminders for the week of October 29th Citrus Sale Fundraiser – Student Personal Trip Accounts Delivery Date: TBD, week of November 12th (specific date based on best harvest date as communicated to Warren Bands when we get closer to date) 2nd Annual Trivia Night Date: THIS Saturday, November 3 Time: 7pm (Doors Open by 6:00pm) Location: Almond Black Box Teams of 8 compete for Cash Prizes! Does YOUR team have what it takes? See Band Trivia website for details. There are a few tables left, if you want to compete. This is our largest Fall Fundraiser for the Warren Band Program. Trivia Night Volunteers – STUDENTS We are still in need of student volunteers to sell raffle tickets/food and turn in Score Sheets. Students who volunteer (Students who sign up on SIGN GENIUS by FRIDAY, November 2, will be excused from the Football playoff game) Playoff Football Pep Band – All band students Warren Band students will perform at this Saturday's home football game. Date: Saturday, November 3 at 7 pm (band will perform until end of game, 9-9:30 pm) Call time: Band students should report to O'Plaine BAND ROOM at 6:30 pm INSTRUMENT CASES: All instrument cases should be in the Band or Choir rooms, OR the hallway between the band & choir rooms. Please do NOT place cases in the back/West hallway (there is an event in the cafeteria Saturday night). What to Wear: Please dress for the weather! It could be cold Saturday night! Layers are advised. Absence policy: Students were informed in class about participating at this game or at Trivia Night. Please contact your student's director if your student cannot perform at this Saturday's game. Panera As requested by some of our Band Families, we are bringing you a Panera Fundraiser!! Date: Monday, November 5 Time: Open to Close Location: 6440 Grand Ave., Gurnee, IL Bring Flyer or Show on your phone (flyer is attached to this email) Ordering online? Try Rapid Pick-Up or Delivery. Enter promo code “PRFUND” at online checkout on your fundraiser day to have a portion of the proceeds donated to your organization. Holiday Spiritwear Shoppe Would you like to order Warren Bands items for the holidays or even just because? The Spirit Wear Store reopens soon! Dates: November 5 to November 18 Delivery: December 12 & 13 (Winter Concert Dates*) *If you are ordering gifts, perhaps come to the concert on the opposite night to pick up items? Flyer and Weblink will be shared by Friday, November 2 Concert Uniform Fittings It's time to get fitted for Concert Uniforms! Dates: Monday & Tuesday, November 12 & 13 Time: 5pm-7:30pm Location: Almond Band Room Girls will be fitted into long black dresses. Boys will be fitted into black jacket and pants. Black bow ties will be available for purchase for $3. White dress/tux shirt is provided on their own. Cleaning Fee: $5 Please bring cash/check/credit card* *processing fee Concert Uniform Fitting Volunteers To help things go smoothly and efficiently, we would like to have 20 volunteers each night to help get students fitted into their concert attire. Girls will be fitted into long black dresses. Boys will be fitted into black jacket and pants. Please SIGNUP to help, so that we know how many volunteers we’ll have that night!
