Greetings Warren Band Parents and Students,
Here are a few additional fundraiser reminders for this week! 1) Color Guard Car Wash Fundraiser #2 – (Last One This Year!) (This Saturday!) Date: Saturday August 29 Time: 10 AM to 3 PM Location: Uno Pizzeria & Grill 6593 Grand Avenue Gurnee, IL (Uno’s parking lot near the SW corner of Grand Avenue and Hunt Club Road) Cost: A monetary donation Purpose: The money raised will help offset the cost of their marching costumes. See this flyer for details. Please come out to support this integral part of the band and get your cars washed at the same time! 2) Color Guard Food Fundraiser – (Last Chance - Ends This Sunday!) Date: On-going Thru This Sunday August 30 Location: Uno Pizzeria & Grill 6593 Grand Avenue Gurnee, IL Details: Visit Uno and they will donate up to 20 % of your check to the WTHS Color Guard (Dine-In or Takeout) Purpose: The money raised will also help offset color guard expenses. You must bring this certificate (coupon) and present it to your server. Please come out for some food/drink and support these band students at the same time! 3) Fall Warren Band Student Fundraiser (Mr. Z's/Chip Shoppe) - (Last Weekend!) This sale features a variety of frozen food items. The money raised will be applied to each student's individual account, held in a district activity account, to be used for next year’s band trip. Turn in your money and/or checks, along with the order form, by Monday (Aug 31). ALL CHECKS MUST BE MADE OUT TO WARREN TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL or WTHS – NOT WARREN BANDS.
