Greetings Warren Band Parents,
The marching band season is almost here and we need your help for the field crew! This is the first opportunity to volunteer for this group. We need volunteers to help at all the home football games, the Fill The Drum night, the Homecoming parade, and all the competitions. A document listing the basic duties, including uniforms, is HERE for reference. The first upcoming crew event is the home football game on Friday, Aug. 26. This is a critical function and the band needs your help so our kids can continue to be successful. Please note that more volunteers means less work for all. FIELD CREW This year, Matt Nevel has again volunteered to coordinate the field crew volunteers. Let him know as soon as possible, if you are interested in supporting our students by volunteering your time to help the field crew (other than those who are marching band uniform volunteers only). Please reply to Matt by e-mail at [email protected], if you are interested. Details, such as specific events and tasks, will be determined later. UNIFORMS This year, Valerie Tamburrino has volunteered to coordinate the marching band uniform volunteers, which is a portion of the field crew. If you are interested in supporting our students by volunteering your time to help with the marching band uniforms only, please contact her. Please reply to Valerie by e-mail at [email protected]. Details, such as specific events and tasks, will be determined later. We also plan on having an initial field crew meeting before the first football game, date and time to be provided in the near future.
