Greetings Warren Band Students and Parents,
Here are some reminders for this weekend (Aug 12, 2016): 1) Last 2016 Color Guard Car Wash Fundraiser - Tomorrow! Date: Sat. Aug. 13, 2016 Time: 9 AM to 3 PM Location: Uno Pizzeria & Grill 6593 Grand Avenue Gurnee, IL (Uno’s parking lot near the SW corner of Grand Avenue and Hunt Club Road) See this flyer for details. Please come out to help support this integral part of the marching band and get your cars washed at the same time! 2) Gurnee Days Parade – Sun. Aug. 14 Time: 10 A to 1 P (10 AM is normal student call time) Meeting Location: WTHS O’Plaine campus Student Attire Requirements - All students are required to wear their white marching band shirt (not Pearl Harbor show shirt), blue marching band shorts, white socks, and white or light sneakers (No black socks!) Parents - For those who volunteered to walk in the parade and deliver water to our students, or help with distribution of band shorts and shirts beforehand, the parent volunteer call time is 9:30 AM this Sunday at the OP campus! Students - If you need to purchase band shorts and/or shirts, please bring $10 cash or check for each ($20 total if you need both) and come early (before 9:45 A). If you had to order items such as band shorts and/or shirts from the previous uniform fittings nights during band camp, please also come early (before 9:45 A) on Sunday before the parade to pick them up. 3) Warren Band Spirit Wear Sale (Only 2 More Days Left!) What: New WTHS Band Spirit Wear for students and parents is still available thru the American Outfitters webstore at the link below. Flyer is here.
