Greetings Warren Band Students and Parents, Here are some updates and reminders for the week of May 11, 2015 (please make sure you read all items so nothing is missed): 1) 2015 Summer Band Camp (Reminder – Seniors can ignore) Dates: July 27 thru 31, 2015 (Monday thru Friday) Location: WTHS – O’Plaine Campus Registration for the next summer band camp is open. Please note that registration is being handled thru the WTHS Web Store: https://wths.revtrak.net/tek9.asp?pg=RW_SummerAthlet Please register soon before the end of May! 2) Music in the Parks - Volunteers still needed!! (Reminder for ALL) Teresa Oberlander and Beth Grau are co-chairs for this three day event (May 8-9 & 16). Our O'Plaine campus will host around 40 school bands and/or choirs who perform prior to going to Great America. Music in the Parks is one of our largest fundraiser each year. Unlike most fundraisers, we only need a few hours of your time. Volunteers - We still need your help! Please sign up at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0b4baeab2aa0fb6-music. If you cannot sign up ahead of time for any reason, please show up when you can and we will match you up with areas that need your help. Any questions, please contact Teresa or Beth ([email protected]). 3) Jazz Auditions (Reminder – Seniors can ignore) Auditions for next year's jazz lab and ensemble have begun. Congratulations! We enjoyed getting to know you and see you improve/mature into interesting and wonderful adults/musicians. It is hard to believe that the last 4 years have gone by so fast. We wish you the best in college and beyond! You will always be part of the Warren band family and we know you will do well in the world.
