Greetings Warren Band Families,
Here are a few reminders for band events this month. 1) Upcoming Warren Band Spirit Wear Sale New WTHS Band Spirit Wear for students and parents will be available soon (probably starting at the end of band camp). More details to follow. 2) Warren Full Band Rehearsals When: Wednesday July 20 and 27 (6 to 9 PM) Location: WTHS O’Plaine campus 3) Band Camp – Week of August 1 Dates: Monday thru Friday (August 1 - 5) Time: 9 AM to 5 PM Location: WTHS O’Plaine campus 4) Uniform Fitting Nights - August 2 - 3 What: Marching band uniform fittings (2 nights during band camp) Date #1: Tuesday August 2 (returning students) Date #2 : Wednesday August 3 (new students) If you cannot attend your night, please come the other evening. It is very important that we fit every possible student during these 2 nights! Time: 5 to 7:30 PM (right after band camp day ends) Location: WTHS O’Plaine Gym Items available for purchase: band shirt, band shorts, marching shoes, white gloves, booster membership 4A) Uniform Fitting Volunteers HELP!!! - We need volunteers to help us both nights. Both parents and returning students are encouraged to assist. Please note that more volunteers means less work for all. This year Valerie Tamburrino will coordinate the marching band uniform volunteers. If you are able to assist, please email Valerie by July 22 (Friday) at [email protected]. 5) WTHS Band Booster Meeting – August 4 Date: Thursday August 4 (first one of 2016-17 school year) Times: 6:30 to 7 PM (parents new to the band program) 7 to approximately 8:30 PM (all booster members) Location: WTHS O’Plaine campus auditorium Mark Haynes President Go Blue Devils!!
