WARREN BAND BOOSTER SCHOLARSHIPS
Freshman/Sophomore/Junior band students should be looking for booster scholarship applications in each band room. Students complete essays to which a maximum of 5 scholarships will be awarded toward band/music related material, camps, or lessons. More information can be found on the application. Application due date is coming! (Friday, April 27)
MUSIC IN THE PARKS
We need your help at Music In the Parks! Our Warren Band Program earns money by hosting bands and choirs at our O’Plaine campus to perform/compete in Music in the Parks. Those bands and choirs then spend the day/weekend at Six Flags Great America. Please see SignUp Genius to sign up to help! The dates are May 5 and May 12 (7am-3pm) – several shifts available! CONCERT UNIFORM RETURNS
We need your help during the final Band Concert on May 3, to collect all Band Uniforms! Following each band’s performance, the students turn in their uniforms. We need about 6 people to help after each group finishes their performance to check off names and place items in bags to be sent for cleaning. (You can volunteer to collect for one band or more!) We will be collecting band uniforms from O’Plaine Concert II, O’Plaine Concert I, Almond Concert Band, and Symphonic Band II.
Symphonic Band I students must keep their uniforms for their final 2018 performance at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign) on evening of May 5.
Please reply to this email if you can help! It only takes about 15-20 minutes to collect uniforms after each group performs!

2018-2019 Band Booster Executive Board Elections
Date: April 19
Location: O'Plaine Band Room
Elections for the Warren Band Boosters Executive Board positions will occur at the next Band Booster Meeting, also known as the Annual Meeting. Each position is a 1 year term (July 1-June 30).
The Executive Board consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The duties of the Executive Board shall be to manage the affairs of the organization in accordance with the By-Laws. The Executive Board is responsible for overall Band Booster Communications, Social Media updates, Fundraisers, Student accounts, finances, and acts as a liaison to the Band Directors.
Elections will be held at the end of the Band Booster Meeting on April 19 in the OPlaine campus band room. The meeting begins at 7pm.
Please contact one of the following individuals if you’d like to place your name on the nomination ballot. Deadline to submit your name is April 17.
