Attention Warren Band Parents,
Here is a special message from one of our feeder school band program, Woodland Middle School. The Woodland Middle School Music Department is hosting a special event next weekend, March 11th & 12th, and are requesting additional assistance from alumni and friends. Thanks in advance for helping Woodland and many of our future Warren band students. Warren Band Boosters ---------------------------------------- Dear Band and Choir Families, The Woodland Middle School Music Department is hosting the first ever Northern Illinois Music Conference Organization Contest this year on March 11th & 12th. This contest allows bands/choirs/orchestras from Northern Illinois to perform for judges who are professional music educators. These judges will give valuable feed back to the performing groups. These performances are open to the public. We invite you all to attend, not only to hear/cheer on the wonderful WMS groups, but other groups from the area as well. Hosting contest is a pretty big deal! In order for contest to run smoothly and for WMS to provide an excellent experience for our guests, we are going to need a lot of help from our wonderful parents, students, siblings, former students and staff members. Any help that you could give would be greatly appreciated. Most shifts are 2.5 hours long. There are brief descriptions of each job on the online form. If you would like to help for longer, and want to keep the same job for multiple times, you must sign up for each time slot. Please consider giving a little of your time to help us out.
