Greetings Warren Band Students and Parents,
Here are some updates and reminders for the week of Nov 16, 2015 (Please make sure you read all items now so nothing is missed): 1) Concert Wear Fittings Nights (Reminder) Date: This Tuesday (Tonight - Nov 17) and Thursday (Nov 19) Student Fitting Times: 6 - 8 P Volunteer Times: 5 - 8:30 P Location: Almond campus band room All band students need to attend one of these uniform fittings for the upcoming concert season. It is very important that each student make a strong effort to attend one of these nights! Parent volunteers are also needed to assist both nights! If parents are available, please contact our concert uniform coordinator Maureen Huss ASAP by e-mail at [email protected] (or just come if there is no time to exchange e-mails) 2) 8th Grade Festival of Bands (Reminder - Sym I) Date: This Wednesday (Nov 18) Time: 7 - 8:30 P Location: Almond campus cafeteria Sym I and a few parent volunteers, along with some directors, will be meeting and getting to know all the 8th grade band students/parents who come to check out the Warren band program and ask questions at this annual event. In addition, all visiting band students will be able to perform some music with our Sym I band. This is a significant opportunity to make a good impression and hopefully convince as many of these students as possible to join the Warren band program. 3) Winter Guard - Upcoming Activities (Reminder) Tryouts - This Thursday (Nov 19) 6 - 9 P at the Almond Campus Good luck to all interested students!
