Greetings Warren Band Students and Parents,
Here are some updates and reminders for the week of Oct. 31, 2016. 1) Warren Band Booster Craft Fair (completed) Last Saturday (Oct 29), our annual band booster craft fair took place at the Almond campus, which isour biggest fundraiser of the year. Thanks to all the student and parent volunteers who helped make this happen, especially Jane Haynes, this year's coordinator! We could not have held this successful event without everyone! We took in a similar amount as in previous years. More details will be provided in the future. 2) Citrus Fruit Fundraiser (ongoing) Orders forms were available in the band rooms beginning last Thursday Oct 27. This is the highest profit fundraiser for a student's trip account. The Florida citrus sale will run thru Thursday, November 10 (correction from last weekly booster e-mail). Delivery date will be early in the week of December 12th. Please make citrus sale checks payable to WTHS. 3) Orlando/Disney Trip Payments (Reminder) All the latest trip payments were due late last week, including students and parent chaperones. If you forgot or could not make them for some reason, you need to bring them in ASAP to the fee office at either campus. 4) Winter Guard & Indoor Percussion - Upcoming Activities (Announcement) Tryouts - This Thursday (Nov 3) 6 PM at the Almond Campus 5) Concert Wear Fitting Nights - Mo & Tu, Nov 14 & 15 (Announcement) The concert wear fitting nights are in two weeks, Monday Nov 14 and Tuesday Nov 15 at the Almond band room. The times both nights are from 5-7:30 pm. Parents, we could still use assistance both nights between 4:45-7:30 pm. Please come at 4:45 pm to help set up.
