Greetings Warren Band Students and Parents,
Here are some updates and reminders for the week of Oct 5, 2015 (please make sure you read all items so nothing is missed): 1) Last Tuesday Night Band Practice (Tomorrow! - Oct 6) Time: 6 to 9 PM Location: WTHS O’Plaine campus No Wednesday night rehearsals on October 7 (This Wed) 2) Craft Fair Concession Volunteers Desperately Needed! (Saturday Nov 7) Who: Parent Volunteers What: Work concessions for the Craft Fair (Saturday - Nov 7) We still need several additional people to make this work! Previous concession experience a plus. All interested volunteers should e-mail Virginia McCullough ASAP, our Craft Fair coordinator, at [email protected]. 3) ISU Dinner Feedback Needed ASAP As usual, the boosters are providing dinner at the ISU competition (Sat Oct 17). The food order needs to be placed very soon and we need to know how many special meals we need. These consist of gluten free and vegetarian choices (for students and adult volunteers). If you need one of the special meals mentioned above, please e-mail us back ASAP (before this Wed - Oct 7) thru the band booster website with your name and details. We may not have a meal for you if you do not respond. 4) Volunteers Still Needed Who: Parent Volunteers What: Pass out Craft Fair flyers at the last home football game Date/Times: Football Game = 1 Friday Left (Oct 16) / 4:30 to 5:15 PM and 6:15 to 7:45 PM All interested volunteers should e-mail Virginia McCullough ASAP, our Craft Fair coordinator, at [email protected] 5) Band Pictures (Reminder) This year we are posting event photos for parent/student access in the gallery on the band website (http://www.wthsbands.org/photos.html) as the season progresses (not waiting for the end of the season). The pictures are sorted by band section, and the senior pictures from Fill the Drum are in their own area. These pictures and others, along with the performance videos, will also be available on the Marching Band DVD available in December for $15. Go Marching Blue Devils!
