Band parents and students going to Disney/Orlando, Here is some information for the band's trip in less than two weeks. The mandatory trip meeting is scheduled on this Tuesday, February 21st in the O'Plaine Auditorium at 7 PM. If you are a chaperone, please arrive a half hour early for a short meeting in the O'Plaine band room. The students will do a short rehearsal of their parade lineup after the trip meeting ends. Note: this itinerary will not distributed at the trip meeting. Please bring your own printed copy or have it accessible electronically. Finally, we have a couple of documents to review with your student regarding their performances (guard students can ignore). The document titled UNIFORM...DISNEY TRIP should be read first. We would like students to bring their marching shoes and a pair of black socks to the meeting on Tuesday. Each student will receive a bag to put these items in which will add to their uniforms already packed for the trip. Your compliance with this task would be greatly appreciated. The document titled UNIFORM...DISNEY PARADE talks about uniform procedures students will follow around the parade.
