Announcements/Reminders for the Week of November 20 1. Make-Up Concert Uniform Fitting DATES: Monday, November 27 TIME: 5:00-7:00pm LOCATION: Almond Bandroom Male students must have a black bow tie. If your student would like to purchase a Bow Tie from the Band Boosters, please bring $4 cash or check (to Warren Band Boosters). 2. Concert Uniform Volunteers Needed Volunteers needed 4:45pm-7:00pm on November 27. Please contact Dawn Tsarpalas if you can help! 3. Winter Guard Marcus Movie Ticket/Gift Card Fundraiser SALE DATES: November 27 – December 4 Funds earned will go towards each Winter Guard member's costume for the upcoming competition season. Options will include discount movie tickets, which will include a free snack voucher with every two discount tickets purchased. Also available are gift cards good for admission and concessions. These are perfect for the holidays! (stocking stuffers, teacher gifts, hostess gifts, etc.) Delivery will be before the Holiday Break. If you’d like to support this fundraiser, contact a Winter Guard member! 4. Citrus Sale Order PickUp PICKUP: TBD 5. Band Booster Meeting DATES: Wednesday, December 6 TIME: 7:00pm LOCATION: Almond Bandroom 6. Jazz Band Concert DATES: Thursday, December 7 TIME: 7:00pm LOCATION: Almond Black Box 7. Holiday Raffle WHAT: Raffle Ticket fundraiser DATES: Ends on December 8 – Return Ticket Stubs and Money to your Band Director COST: $1 per Raffle Ticket Each band student should have received 20 Raffle Tickets in the mail to their home. If each band student sells just 20 Raffle Tickets, together, we can raise $6000! Funds raised will support the repair and purchase of instruments, uniforms, and scholarships! Please make checks payable to “Warren Band Boosters”. Winning Tickets will be drawn and announced at the Holiday Band Concerts on December 13 and 14. 8. Holiday Band Concerts WHO: O’Plaine Concert Band I and O’Plaine Concert Band II DATE: Wednesday, December 13 TIME: 7:00pm LOCATION: O’Plaine Auditorium WHO: Symphonic Band I, Symphonic Band II, and Almond Concert Band DATE: Thursday, December 14 TIME: 7:00pm LOCATION: O’Plaine Auditorium 9.
