Greetings Warren Band Students and Parents,
This is the last weekly e-mail for the 2015 – 2016 school year. Additional e-mails will be sent out in the future (this "summer"), as needed. Students, good luck on all your finals and have a wonderful summer! Here are some updates and reminders for the week of May 16, 2016 (Please make sure you read all items so nothing is missed): 1) 2016 Summer Band Camp (Reminder – Seniors can ignore) Dates: August 1 - 5, 2016 Times: 9 A - 5 P Location: O'Plaine campus Registration for the next summer band camp is still open and we need as many students as possible in attendance. Please sign up ASAP at https://d121.cr3.rschooltoday.com/public/home. Please note that this is also the same week as registration, but students will be allowed to come and go as needed for registration. See the band camp packet for more information. Please register as soon as possible before the end of May! 2) Disney 2017 Trip - "Tentative" Dates (Reminder – Seniors can ignore) At the last booster meeting (April 2016), the following dates were announced for the 2017 Disney trip: March 2 - 6, 2017 Once the dates are formally approved, we will send out another update. 3) Music in the Parks Band Fundraiser 2016 (Completed) Over the last 2 Saturdays (May 7 & 14, 2016), we hosted many school musical groups (bands, orchestras and choirs from many different states, and even Canada) who performed for judging prior to going to Great America. Thank you to all the students and parents who volunteered their time to make this another successful fundraising event! 4) General Volunteer Thank You! Thanks so much to all the parent booster volunteers who helped with anything throughout this, and prior, school years! You are vital to the success of our program and we could not have done it without you! 5) Departing Senior Parent/Student Thank You! A special shout-out to those departing Senior Parents and Students! We enjoyed getting to know you and will miss working with you. We wish you and your family the best for the future!
