Greetings Warren Band Students and Parents, Here are some updates and reminders for the week of Jan 18, 2016 (Please make sure you read all items so nothing is missed): 1) North Shore Jazz Fest Competition (Announcement – All Jazz Bands) Date/Time: This Saturday (Jan 23 – All day) Location: Glenbrook South High School Specific Times: Contact your directors Admission: $10 – Adults, $5 – Senior Citizens or children under 12 Please support our wonderful Jazz Bands by attending to cheer them on 2) Marching Band Show T-Shirt Sale (Reminder) We are still selling leftover marching band show T-Shirts (Arachnophobia) for $5 each and will continue to do so until supplies run out. Since they are leftovers, quantity and sizes may be limited. Checks should be made out to the Warren Band Boosters. If you are interested, send in your orders, with payment and sizes, to the directors or the booster board members. All orders will be filled on a first come basis. 3) Pep Band Games (Reminder) The pep band schedule is still posted in all band rooms and on the front page of the band booster website at http://www.wthsbands.org/. Band students are welcome to attend any or all games. Please attend another game if you cannot attend your band's assigned game. Any questions, please contact your director. 4) Marching Band DVD Sale (Reminder) We are still selling 2 marching band DVD sets, consisting of 1 DVD with videos of performances, along with a second DVD containing event photos. The cost for this set is $15. Please note that we also have a few copies of last year's DVD set for sale for only $10 (limited quantities). Checks should be made out to the Warren Band Boosters. Orders and payment can be given to the directors or the booster board members. 5) Winter Guard Movie Ticket Fundraiser (Update) The Winter Guard will be starting another sale of Marcus Theatre gift cards, gift certificates and discounted movie tickets very soon, with delivery in time for Valentine’s Day (Feb 14). More details will follow. 6) Dodge Test Drive (Warren Band Fundraiser Reminder) We are still working to hopefully schedule a Dodge Test Drive fundraiser sometime this Spring (maybe late March or early April). More details will follow. 7) Cheesecake Sale (Coming Soon) The last fundraiser for this school year where students can put more money into their trip accounts is a cheesecake sale. Info and order forms will be made available to the students in the near future. More details will follow. Go Blue Devils!
